I just finished spinning some more yarn today. It was Louet roving from the drop spindle kit I got as a gift from a friend, last month. It was so easy and wonderful to spin and I love the color. There are about 180 meters of 2-ply yarn.
You've done a fine job spinning that yarn! I'm hoping I'll be able to spin as well as you someday. :) Pretty colour, too. Now what will you knit with it, I wonder?
What a wonderful even yarn you've spun off a drop spindle. I've got an Ashford Traditional (made here in New Zealand) and I use mainly roving I've bought as fleeces and had carded for me. The fleece I love is Merino but I also use Romney. I have so much carded fleece to spin but with twin toddlers I have little time now. I came to your blog to look at your cricket jersey, which is truly wonderful. You have a lovely gentle hand in your work.
