So with my clapotis about 2/3rd knitted, I was itching to start a new project. And our warm weather does not encourage handling of heavier yarns, so i have picked another lace weight project. It is Muir and I have to say I am very pleased with it so far. It is easy, straight-forward and seems to knit up quite fast. The yarn I'm using is Shetland wool from a giveaway at the ravelry destash forum. It is much prettier in life than it appears in the photo.

That yarn knits up with fantastic stitch definition! It was a very good score.

Hello Umme, I have a Sunshine award for you on my blog.
ReplyDeleteHi Mariya Thankyou for your lovely comment..its lovely to see the quilt folded on my couch I might even use it tonight as the weather is a bit chilly at nights now...I have managed to cut the borders for 3 quilts this afternoon but couldnt sew them on as I had a surprise visit from a friend ( a quilting one) who dropped in for a cuppa ...I dont mind being disturbed for a good reason:) I have to take Kayla to work soon then I have a friend coming for tea so the borders will have to wait till tomorrow night after work
ReplyDeleteI am in awe of your knitting it is fabulous..
Hope you & the family are well
Have a lovely week
Hugs

@ Umm Omar...AoA, no I don't have any tutorials on the blog, just a few patterns. However, I'm sure there are plenty of helpful sites around the web.
