  1. I love the "Tutu Pullover is up"
it's beautiful and would be beautiful on my granddaughter. The only problem is I am a lousy knitter, but I crochet really well. Is there a conversion to crochet pattern for this lovely item?

  2. Hi ALva, thank you for liking the pattern. I'm afraid no conversion to crochet is available. However there might be similar looking crochet patterns out there. Good Luck.

  3. Hi,
I am from Australia and I have never seen anything at all, like this pullover, here. It is absolutely gorgeous and so unusual to Australia and would make a great conversation piece I am sure.
My 21 yr old daughter's friend loves old fashioned and unusual garments. Her daughter is only one now but I would love to make this to fit her for next year or maybe the year after.
I have not had any experience knitting in the round but I am a reasonably fast learner. Is it hard to knit up once one has had in the round knitting experience?
Thank you for taking the time to read my comment.
P.S. You are so clever to be able to create and share a pattern like this.

  4. Hi Narelle,
Thank you so much for admiring the pattern. It is knit top-down in round with increases for the raglan sleeves and the A-line shaping at the sides and also down the middle of front and back. To knit this successfully, you should be able to tackle both the knitting in round and the increases. With you being a fast learner, I'm sure you will figure it out . I would be happy to help.

  5. Hello again,
I have just purchased a couple of your patterns one being the lovely tutu pullover.
I had a quick peruse of it and needless to say I will have to read it a few times to get it to sink in.
I have one question at this stage. It says to w & t. (I know this means wrap and turn) The thing is, there is no instructions on how to actually do this. I have looked up other patterns that do explain it but I dont seem to be getting a grasp on it. I was wondering if there was any way you could explain it to me please.
    Thank you for your time.
    Narelle

  6. Hi Narelle,
Here is a tutorial on wrapping and turning. http://www.purlbee.com/short-row-tutorial/ Just go through the instructions for w & t on the knit side and then picking up the wraps on the knit side.

  7. Thank you so much for the link. It was so much easier to see the examples. I will have to do some practising of that before I tackle anything of significance.
Thank you so much for your help.
