This is my latest project which I was able to finish in three days, now that my son has started school and I hav e more time on my hands. here are the pictures and the pattern:

· Worsted weight yarn in colors back, yellow and brown.
· Crochet hook size 4.50 mm
· Fabric for lining
· A black zipper

Square 1:
Rnd 1: With yellow, ch6, close the ring with a sl st. Ch3, work into the ring;2 dc, ch 3, *3 dc, ch 3, repeat from * twice, join to initial third ch with a sl st.
Rnd 2: join brown at any ch 3 space, ch3, 2dc, ch 3, 3 dc all in the same space, *ch 3, (3dc, ch3, 3 dc) in the next ch 3 space, repeat from* twice, ch 3 join to initial third ch with a sl st.
Rnd 3: Join black yarn at same ch 3 space were brown yarn was fastened off. Ch 5, *(3dc, ch3, 3 dc) all in the next ch 3 space, ch3, 3 dc in the next ch 3 space, ch 3. Repeat from *twice, (3 dc, ch 3, 2dc) in the last space. Join to third ch of initial 5ch with a slip st.

Square 2:
Work all rounds similar to Square 1 except in the following color sequence:
Rnd 1: black.
Rnd 2: yellow.
Rnd 3: brown.

Square 3:
Same as square 2.

Square 4:
Work all rounds similar to Square 1 except in the following color sequence:
Rnd 1: brown.
Rnd 2: black.
Rnd 3: yellow.

Bottom, sides, and top:
With black, ch 10, work 1 dc in fourth ch from the hook.
Row 2: ch 3, 1 dc in each of next 6 dc. (7 dc)
Repeat row 2 twenty six times. (This makes the sides and bottom of the bag.
Row 29:* ch 3, I dc in the next dc of last row, turn. Repeat row 29 fourteen times. Fasten off.
Join yarn and the second last dc of row 28. Work on these last 2 sts, from * on row 29 onwards. Fasten off. Sew the fastened off edges to the beginning and end of chains on row 1, making sure not to twist the piece.

Straps (make 2):
With black, ch 53, 1 dc in third ch from the hook, then 1 dc in each ch across. Work 2 sl st into the last dc without turning, then continue with 1 sl st into each chain at the bottom of the dc row. 2 sl st into the first dc of the last row, then sl st along the top of all dc. Fasten off.

Stitch together one margin of squares 1 and 2, and squares 3 and 4 with a single row of evenly spaced sc. The stitch both sets of squares to the two edges of Bottom, sides, and top piece, making sure that these correspond to each other in placement.
Cut and sew lining in place. I placed a piece of cardboard in between two layers of lining for the bottom. Sew on the zipper. Sew straps in place.
