All the slog over the past two weeks has paid off, and I am happy to report that I am done with the body of the grandpa cardigan and nearly half the way through the first sleeve. The tubular bind-off, at the lower edge of the body, took its time but gave satisfactory result. I hope to get this cardigan done by the next weekend, inshaAllah.
That is huge progress! What a lovely sweater that will be. I'm trying to make the simplest little baby sweater for a surprise gift, and so far have ripped out once, switched yarns, and am now about 1/3 done and tempted to rip out again. Maybe I should stick to socks! A baby can wear socks, right?

Thank you! A baby can wear socks but not for any long length of time. The only kind of socks that I had success with, were the ones with ties.
