Vest Progress

So I did cast on a vest in worsted weight. And it did seem to fly initially however now that I am left with one front side and the finishing, things are slowing down. I already have my interest wavering and am tempted to start another project. The pleasure has been taken out of  knitting this vest by the worry that I might run out of yarn. There is only one way to find out, so I will stick to knitting this vest until it is finished, inshaAllah, or I run out of yarn.

  1. I think we may be in the same spot with our vests, despite the different patterns. I have been spinning rather than knitting due to my fear of running out of yarn for the cloud chaser. Despite the fact that I know the only way to find out is to knit on. However, your vest looks lovely! Truly!

  2. Thanks. I have been putting off casting on the second front all day. However, I think I have a solution in case I run out of yarn. I will have to frog the back and re-knit it with contrasting color stripes, like in the original pattern.

  3. Love the cable on your vest. Do you have a pattern for it or are you creating the pattern yourself?
