I knit this vest for my daughter to use up the yarn leftover from my son's Steggie Hoodie and a ball of chenille I had in my stash. The pattern is my own, though I got the idea from a sewing magazine, a while back. It was an interesting little knit with more than a bit of finishing (as the chenille border is folded over and sewed into place).
I am on to more knitting with leftovers. Next will be a pair of socks.

Both your daughter and the vest is adorable!!!! But it really looks like a loooong way to go around the edge to fold and sew :-)
