She's here

Our baby girl was born on Friday at 7 a.m. by c-section. She is three weeks early as I developed hypertension out of blue, about two weeks back. She is tiny, at birth weight 2.8 kg, and for the last couple of days, has had us worried with deepening jaundice and a touch of fever. But hopefully, she is getting better now, inshaAllah. As for me, I must be recovering well as I have a sudden urge to cast on some new baby project.

  2. Oh Mabrook!!! Wonderful news ma sha Allah! May Allah make her healthy and pious and a sadaqah jaariyah for you. In sha Allah her jaundice will clear up soon. Just make sure she gets plenty of sunlight.

  3. She is, of course, just beautiful! I love her! Also, I think 6 pounds is pretty darn good for 3 weeks early! I am glad you are feeling up to blogging and on the mend, and I can't wait to hear more about her! Congratulations!

  13. ALLAH give her good health! I'm happy that you live in a city with moderate weather in summer. And hey, don't take her to sunlight! "Fruitful fusion" must belong to some country with moderate or cold climate. Sunlight can be deadly for such a small kid. Never ever take her to sunlight, not atleast for the next six months. This is a common misconception that sunlight is good for children's health. fajr time is best if you want to take her out, I've heard it's good for jaundice too, but if you ask me, keeping her inside is safer.. especially when the dangue kind of dangerous mosquitos are here...

ALLAH give your little girl good health and a beautiful happy life always! A'meen!

    As-SALAM-o-alaikum
